This vinyl record brings together four works by Estonian composer Peeter Vähi. As a composer, Vähi’s foundation is in classical music, but his creative reach extends far beyond. In his youth, he led and played keyboards for the renowned Soviet rock band Vitamiin, giving around 250 concerts a year for over a decade. His music blends diverse philosophies with his Northern roots, often composed under distant skies—in a Tibetan monastery, in India’s Kerala backwaters, or in Africa’s Masai Mara, to name just a few. Beyond music, Vähi is also a gifted photographer, whose exhibitions are artistic events in their own right.
