G.B. Pergolesi "Stabat mater"

Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, who lived to be only 25, left behind several significant works, including the "Stabat mater". He composed this piece during the last year of his life, and according to contemporary opinions, it represented a completely new style in traditional church music. The musical work was first published in London in 1749 and became the most published work of the 18th century.

The concert is without intermission and lasts approximately 1 hour.
